Biography

Mashkoor Ali has completed his PhD in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Roorkee. His areas of interest include differential equations, partial integro-differential equations, and mathematical modelling. He earned his Master’s degree from IIT Bombay and his Bachelor’s degree from Aligarh Muslim University.

Mashkoor has qualified for several national-level exams, such as the UGC JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), and JAM (Joint Admission Test for Masters). He was also awarded the prestigious INSPIRE-SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education).

During his PhD, he worked on two research projects supported by esteemed organizations, including the Indo-French Centre for Applied Mathematics (IFCAM) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), in collaboration with the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). He actively participated in national and international conferences, presenting his research on coagulation-fragmentation models. His work has been published in reputable journals such as the SIAM Journal of Mathematical Analysis, Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Applications, and the Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications.
