Biography

Harshit Maurya is a Lecturer in the Information Systems and Analytics area at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) and a PhD candidate in Information Systems at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur, where he was distinguished as a Gold Medalist. His research interests encompass Generative Artificial Intelligence, Future of Work, Human-AI Collaboration, and Computationally Intensive Theory Construction. His work has been recognized internationally, with acceptance at prestigious conferences and workshops, including the International Conference on Information Systems, JAIS Theory Development Workshops, and SIG HCI Workshops. Additionally, his work has been published in renowned journals such as the Communications of the Association for Information Systems (ABDC-A). Further, he has also been awarded a research grant of $5,000 in API credits by OpenAI through its Researcher Access Program to support his thesis work.
