Biography

Dr. Ganesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the area of Marketing Management at Jindal Global Business School at O.P. Jindal Global University. He holds Masters degree ‘MBA’ in marketing specialization from the School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala. He is a recipient of fellowship under the UGC-NET JRF scheme. He has completed his doctoral degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in the Marketing and consumer behavior field. His research specifically focuses on the marketing of green energy retailing products, such as residential rooftop solar panel systems and solar home lighting systems, and exploring the factors affecting consumers’ green energy purchase behaviour. He has two years of teaching experience. 

Dr. Kumar has published papers in ABDC-ranked journals and presented his research work at various prestigious international conferences (AIMS, PAN-IIM, Public Policy & Management Conference of IIMB), keeping the academic and professional community updated with the latest developments in the field.
