Biography

Dr. Vaibhav Aggarwal is an Associate Professor in the Accounting & Finance area at Jindal Global Business School. He has more than 15 years of rich experience with a blend of both industry and academia. His research interests are in financial markets, and he has published several research papers in reputed journals listed in Scopus, ABDC, and ABS. His teaching interests include Equity Valuation, Financial Modelling, Corporate Finance, and Financial Derivatives.

He has completed the doctoral program at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He graduated from Delhi University and completed an MBA (Finance) from Apeejay Institute of Management. Further to enhance his domain expertise in the world of finance, he completed all three Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program from CFAI, USA.

He has also conducted advanced financial modeling workshops and Management Development Programmes (MDP) for reputed B-Schools and industry/faculty participants, respectively. He has a keen interest in the latest happenings in the Indian economy and stock markets and has participated in several news debates on NDTV. Firstpost also covered him in an interview highlighting the role in revoking the EPF tax by the central government in 2016. He also participates in CFA India society volunteer activities and has mentored students in various B-schools in the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
