Biography

Dr. Vaibhav Aggarwal is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at Jindal Global Business School. He brings over 17 years of experience spanning both industry and academia. His research focuses on financial markets, with contributions published in premier journals indexed in ABDC, ABS, and Scopus. His teaching expertise includes Equity Valuation, Financial Modeling, Corporate Finance, and Financial Derivatives.

Dr. Aggarwal earned his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, an MBA in Finance from Apeejay Institute of Management, and his undergraduate degree from Delhi University. He is also a CFA Charter holder, after having successfully completed all three levels of the program from the CFA Institute, USA.

An active contributor to the financial community, he conducts advanced financial modeling workshops and Management Development Programmes (MDPs) for leading B-schools and industry professionals. He is a frequent commentator on the Indian economy and stock markets, appearing in debates on NDTV. Notably, his advocacy was highlighted by Firstpost for its role in the central government’s 2016 revocation of the EPF tax. He also serves as a volunteer for the CFA Society India and mentors’ students for the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
