Biography

I currently hold the esteemed position of Associate Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University, Haryana, India, a role I have been honored to occupy since July 2018. In addition to this, I fulfill the responsibilities as the Area Chair for the "Information Systems and Analytics" discipline, overseeing the strategic direction and academic excellence within this domain. My administrative contributions extend to my involvement in enhancing our institution's standing through AACSB accreditation efforts, specifically focusing on Standard-3.

Before my tenure at OPJGU, I contributed to the research landscape as a Research Assistant at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, India, for a period of seven months. This role was preceded by an intensive four-year commitment to Ph.D. research in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India, where I delved deep into the complexities of my field.

Further enriching my academic and professional journey, I embraced the role of Visiting Faculty Member in the Department of Computer Science at the LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT), a Deemed University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, for one and a half years. This experience allowed me to share my knowledge and insights with aspiring scholars and practitioners.

My academic credentials are bolstered by a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Data Processing, obtained from the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. This was preceded by an enriching two-year tenure in M.Sc. (Mathematics) at the Department of Mathematics, Kakatiya University. It culminated in my graduation (B.Sc.) from Vivekavardhini Degree College, affiliated to KU, in Warangal, Telangana, India. This is where my foundation in this illustrious field was laid.

In summary, my academic and professional endeavors are characterized by a profound commitment to excellence, innovation, and the dissemination of knowledge within the realms of Information Systems and Analytics.

I am honored to have achieved the All India 67th Rank in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Mathematics in 2009, and the State 23rd Rank in the KU-Set Examination in Mathematics in 2006. My academic and research contributions have been recognized at an international level, placing me among the top 2% of scientists worldwide for the fourth consecutive year, according to the prestigious Stanford+Elsevier ranking. Additionally, ScholarGPS, an esteemed scholarly analytics platform, has ranked me within the top 0.5% of scholars globally.

With over six years of teaching and eight years of research experience, I have authored sixty-six research articles, 23 of which are listed in Scopus Q1, 8 in Scopus Q2, and 14 in IEEE journals. Additionally, I actively participate as a reviewer for esteemed national and international journals and conferences and am a dedicated member of IEEE. 

I hail from Kothagudem and completed my early education at Bharat Public School in Kothagudem, Khammam Dist., Telangana, India. Besides academics, I have a strong passion for playing cricket, video games, carrom, and poker.

I have always aimed to join a challenging team that encourages growth, explores my potential, and allows me to develop my skills to become an asset to the organization. I hope to engage with individuals who will broaden my perspective, encourage diverse thinking, and improve my overall personality. I am confident that my collaboration with the existing team will be positive, and I am ready to introduce research projects if needed. I sincerely hope to achieve success with valuable guidance from senior members of the organization and believe that the organization will satisfy my thirst for knowledge. I am looking forward to a challenging career and a fulfilling experience.
