Biography

Dr. Shabani Bhatia is an accomplished Assistant Professor at the Business School of OP Jindal Global University, where she teaches courses in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Design Thinking to MBA, BBA, and UpGrad students. She holds a PhD in Strategy from Delhi University, awarded in October 2022, for her dissertation on innovative value creation strategies in e-learning. With extensive academic and industry experience, Dr. Bhatia has made significant contributions to the fields of business education, strategic management, and content development.
Before her current role, she worked as a Consultant in Content Development at BYJU’s, contributing to educational content for millions of students. She also has a notable media background, having worked with ET Now as an Anchor and Analyst and with NDTV Profit as a Senior Research Analyst and Business Anchor, where she conducted in-depth analysis of Indian and global markets.

Dr. Shabani has been a visiting faculty member at several esteemed institutions, including Delhi University’s Faculty of Management Studies and Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. She has also published extensively on topics such as green finance, ESG regulatory frameworks, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education. Her research has appeared in reputed journals like Environment, Development and Sustainability and the International Journal of Applied Decision Sciences.

In addition to her academic and research credentials, Dr. Shabani has a strong professional background, having been selected by the National Commission for Women for the "Entrepreneurship for Everyone" program conducted by IIM Bangalore. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, she brings a diverse and global perspective to her teaching and research endeavors.
