Biography

Dr Kulpreet Kaur is an Associate Professor and Program Dean at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS)at Jindal Global University (JGU). She carries with her an extensive experience of 25 years in the field of School Education and Counselling which is evenly split between administration and academia. In her work experience of more two decades of managing the entire spectrum of Human Resources in the capacity of The Principal of various Senior Secondary Schools, she has intensively worked to identify the individual differences amongst the students and device the suitable modules to increase the effectivity of the teaching learning process. She has vigorously worked in developing learning interventions to strengthen organizational capabilities, assessing learning needs, mapping competencies and managing performance.

In her role as a director of an inclusive school, innovative techniques of learning and assessment were devised to best fit the specific needs and talents of the students with ADHD, Autism, Partial Blindness and Sub average IQ. These innovations were a disparate from the traditional system of evaluation and effectively assisted the students to develop their social skills for better adjustment in the society. She has been actively involved in conducting the workshops with students, teachers and parents on various inter and intrapersonal skill enhancement areas. As a facilitator, she was adjudged as “Best Teacher” and as a head of various Senior Secondary Educational Institutions for 12 years, she has received ‘Inspiring Educators Award’ and ‘Rajiv Gandhi Appreciation Award’ for her contribution to Education and Innovation. Her expertise is in the field of Educational/ School Psychology, Career Counselling, Relationship Management and Teachers’ Training.

She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Social Psychology and Post Graduate degree with specialization in Clinical Psychology from University of Delhi. Her topic of doctoral research was “Marital Adjustment as a Function of Age Gap between the Spouses”. She is a B.Ed. PGDPR & has Global Career Counsellor Certification besides other academic certificatations.
