Biography

Dr. Bhawna Sahu is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Jindal Global Business School. She pursued her PhD at the Indian Institute of Management Indore, where her thesis was titled as "Essays on Monetary Policy, Bank Liquidity, and Stock Market," which examined the intricate relationships between monetary policy and financial markets.

Currently, Bhawna is researching how economic factors shape social practices and perceptions surrounding menstruation and waste disposal. Her interdisciplinary work aims to contribute to broader discussions on sustainability and gender equity.

In her teaching domain, Bhawna has offered a diverse array of courses, including macroeconomics, microeconomics, statistics for managers, economics of strategy, and environmental management.
