Biography

Ashish Dwivedi works as a Professor in Operations Management and Decision Sciences at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University), Sonipat. He holds a doctorate (PhD) from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. He holds a MTech degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj, India. He is an Engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering. He has received the second prize in the Basant Kumar Birla Distinguished Researcher Award 2022 based on the count of ABDC A / ABDC A* / ABS 4-level publications over five years. His research has been published in various journals of international repute, including Journal of Cleaner Production, Business Strategy and the Environment, Annals of Operations Research, International Journal of Production Research,  Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management, International Journal of Disaster Risk and Reduction, International Journal of Logistics Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change and so forth. He has also presented his research works in various international conferences held in US, Italy, London, Maldives and Dubai.

Received second prize in the Basant Kumar Birla Distinguished Researcher Award 2022 based on count of ABDC A* / ABS 4 level publications over a period of 5 years.

Received Research Scholar Travel Award from IIT Delhi, India to attend 10th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) to be held at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dubai during March 10-12, 2020.

Received Research Excellence Travel Grant from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to attend 10th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) to be held at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dubai during March 10-12, 2020.

Received Research Excellence Travel Award amounting to Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only from promotional fund of IRD to present a paper in conference abroad.
