Biography

Dr. Amanish Lohan currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Associate Dean for the Office of Online and Blended Education at JGBS. Prior to joining JGBS, he has more than 5 years of industry experience where he has worked in various capacities, primarily in the areas of Marketing and Cybersecurity Operations. He has worked on more than 50 projects during his industry tenure and contributed to revenue and growth expansion for various startups and established firms. He is well versed with modern digital marketing  and AI-driven marketing tools, and implemented the same in multiple projects for enhanced growth and development of marketing objectives.

His research interests include Digital Marketing, Sports Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Emerging technologies in business including Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security. He teaches courses in Artificial Intelligence in Marketing, Sports Marketing, Emerging Technologies etc. He has published research articles in ABDC and Scopus indexed journals and presented papers in national and international conferences. He is also the co-editor of a book on Cyber Security Policy of India which was launched on Amazon Start

Dr. Lohan has previously worked on various research projects with organizations like UNICEF, RedR, MSF in sensitive regions. He has also worked closely with the government agencies including NCIIPC in securing our digital frontiers. He is also a distinguished fellow of the Information Sharing and Analysis Center and a member of the esteemed National Security Database. Dr. Lohan holds multiple industry certifications from Google, IBM, University of Virginia, University System of Georgia among others. He holds a Master’s in Diplomacy, Law and Business from Jindal School of International Affairs and a Bachelor’s in Automotive Systems Engineering (Hons.) from University of Wolverhampton, UK.
