Areiba Arif is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, specializing in Public Systems. Her research focuses on policy implementation, particularly exploring health workers in India’s National Primary Health Reform. She holds a Master of Public Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Aligarh Muslim University.
Areiba has worked as an Analyst in Health Economics and Outcome Research at Novartis India, where she conducted systematic reviews and meta-analyses to generate real-world evidence on the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of various drugs and medical devices. She has also contributed to Health Technology Assessment Reports.
She has received several awards and honors, including a research grant under the Regunath Research Fellowship Programme at the Development of Corporate Citizenship, S P Jain Institute of Management and Research, and the 6th International Fellowship in Health Technology Assessment awarded by the National Health Systems Resource Centre.
Areiba’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Policy Research in Tourism Leisure and Events and the Journal of Communication in Healthcare. She has presented her work at various international national conferences. Her research interests include policy implementation, health economics, digital health innovations and organizational changes.
