Sonali Shankar is a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India, in Information Systems. During her Ph.D., she worked on the application of information systems for decision-making in an organization. Her work has been published in high-impact journals such as Industrial Management and Data Systems, and Benchmarking: An International Journal. She has presented her research at international conferences like ACM, MIS-Q Author Development Workshop, INFORMS, and SOM.
Sonali Shankar was awarded the Commonwealth Split-Site Ph.D. Scholarship in 2019 to carry forward her research work with the experts from the UK university for a duration of one year. She is on the reviewer committee of journals like the International Journal of Systems Assurance Engineering and Management, and Maritime Technology and Research. Currently, she is focusing on information systems theory development and the application of information, communication, and technology (especially blockchain and artificial intelligence) for sustainable business practices.
