Biography
Dr Rupesh Kumar did his Post Doctorate in Management Science from CEG, Intituto Superior Tecnico, Portugal with fully funded scholarship under Namaste India-EU scheme. Dr Kumar has a PhD degree in IT and Supply Chain Management from Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee on merit-based scholarship offered by MHRD, Government of India. His Master’s Degree in IT and e-Business from University of Reading, United Kingdom under Erasmus Mundus fully funded by European Commission. He has done several technical projects in the countries like Greece, Spain, etc. He did B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Gurukula Kangri University, Haridwar, India and scored 6th rank all over the university. He has more than 9 years of teaching and research experience, last one being at UPES, Dehradun. He has introduced and taught contemporary courses like, Operations Management, Forecasting, Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Research using R, and Quantitative Methods. He has presented and published in many reputed national and international platforms. He has an edited book “Statistical Analysis using R” published by Amazon, USA, KDP; written a book on “Supply Chain Modeling, Design and Simulation” for Distance Learning Courses of MBA at UPES, Dehradun. He is a recipient of Noel Deere Gold Model for the best research paper as presented during the 72nd Annual Convention of STAI, New Delhi. He has conducted as well as attended several workshops, sugar expo, and seminars at IIT Roorkee, STAI, CIA, SIOM, and UPES. He has trained management executives of private sector companies like GSK, Mahindra & Mahindra, etc.
