Biography

Dr. Rajni is an Associate Professor of Decision Sciences at the Jindal Global Business School, India. She earned a PhD degree from Pohang University of Science and Technology, POSTECH, South Korea in 2017 under the guidance of Professor In Seok Kang. A First Rank holder in Masters in Science (Mathematics) from NIT Rourkela (2010) and a Bachelor in Science and Education from Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar, India (2008). Her doctoral research titled “Ion size effect on electrocapillarity and electroosmotic flow in nanochannels” is based on mathematical modeling of electrolytes in nanochannels. 

Her research interests are Computational fluid dynamics, Modeling and Simulation of Partial Differential Equations, Linear and Non-linear equations, Mathematical Modeling and its application in nanofluidics. 

Her teaching interests are in the field of Decision Sciences. 

At JGBS, she has taught the following courses: Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Statistics for Management, Business Calculus and Applications, etc. 

Away from work, she loves to listen to old hindi songs and cook.
