Dr. Pooja Batra

Dr. Pooja Batra has attained her FPM degree in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Indore, a Master’s degree in Economics from Mumbai University and an Undergraduate degree from Sophia College, Mumbai. After completing her Master, she was associated with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Kolkata and XLRI Jamshedpur as a researcher undertaking various development projects. After completing her FPM she worked for a year as an Assistant Professor in Christ (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa Campus and as a consultant with Tata Steel Foundation. Currently, she is also associated as a Senior Fellow at IIMAD, Kerala. She has attended many international and national conferences and also won the best paper award at The International Migration Conference 2019 held in Bari, Italy. Her research interest lies in the field of migration, health, education and gender. And she likes teaching Micro Economics, Applied Econometrics, Development Economics, Gender Economics and Impact Evaluation.
