Biography

Dr. Pooja Batra is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Economics), in Jindal Global Business School of O. P Jindal Global University, Sonipat and Haryana. She is also a senior fellow at IIMAD, Kerala.  After attaining her PhD degree in Economics from Indian Institute of Management, Indore.  She has also  been associated with Tata Steel Foundation and Christ ( Deemed to be University ), Pune, Lavasa Campus. After completing her Masters, she had the privilege to work with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Kolkata and XLRI Jamshedpur as a researcher undertaking various development projects. Her research interest lies in the field of migration, health, education and gender.
