Dr. Mohit Bhatnagar

Dr. Mohit Bhatnagar is an associate professor in the Information Systems and Analytics area. He has completed his doctorate degree (Decision Sciences) from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, his post-graduation from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and an undergraduate degree (E&C) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

His doctoral thesis work has been multi-disciplinary in scope where he extended and validated the largest international career database (O*NET) for lifelong career decision support and proposed an analytics driven career planning model. Mohit’s work in the area has been published in international journals for vocational guidance and decision systems and has also been presented in international and national (PAN IIM etc.) conferences.

Mohit has extensive industry experience in the IT & ITES sector, working across roles in software development, program management, pre -sales, sales, marketing and consulting. Mohit is also the founder of tucareers.com, an EdTech entrepreneurial venture based on his thesis work which provides a psychometric framework that several students, career counsellors, coaches and organizations use in India and internationally.

His current research interest includes application of analytics and natural language processing in the area of career and other decision support systems.
