Dr. Ashutosh Samadhiya is an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Business School, O.P Jindal Global University, Sonipat. Dr. Ashutosh has almost 3 years of teaching experience. Before joining JGU, he completed his PhD in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He has contributed many research papers in international referred & national journals and conferences at the international and national levels. He has sound capabilities in handling field projects, including rural, semi-urban, and urban settings. He has skills and expertise in Advance Statistics Models, Multivariate Analysis, Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Fuzzy Theory, Fuzzy Optimisation, Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Grey Theory and Analysis, Machine Learning, etc. His areas of research are sustainability science, green/sustainable supply chain management, green operations, sustainable procurement, sustainable development, circular economy, Industry 4.0, performance measurement, human capital in supply chain and operations, decision modelling for sustainable business, and integration of operation area with other areas. He has also published some book chapters. Currently Dr, Ashutosh is serving as a guest editor in the “Buildings” journal. He is also associated with many journals as a reviewer and advisory member, such as the Journal of cleaner production, Journal of manufacturing technology and management, Heliyon, and Sustainable production and consumption.
He has two Indian patents; one is granted, and the other one is published. He developed one handloom machine during his PhD and transferred the technology for that handloom. Dr. Ashutosh was selected for Newton-Bhabha PhD placement programme in the year 2021, and completed his visit as a research fellow at University of Derby, UK. He also has a two-year visiting research fellow at the University of Derby, UK.
