<h3>Applying to India for a Study Visa</h3>
    <p>Student visa application processes can sometimes take up to three months or longer, particularly during peak application periods. It’s crucial to apply for your visa as early as possible to avoid any potential delays.</p>

<h3>Applying for an Indian Study Visa</h3>
    <p>It’s important to note that students traveling on any visa other than a study visa to India are <strong>not eligible</strong> to study or register at JGU. Therefore, it’s imperative to apply in advance for a visa that covers the <strong>full duration</strong> of your study.</p>

<h3>Check Your Study Visa</h3>
    <p>When applying for an Indian Study Visa, submit your application to the Indian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate in your home country or country of residence. The Ministry of External Affairs provides a list of Indian missions by country. Ensure that all your documents are original, and if photocopies are permitted, they should be certified copies of the originals.</p>

<p>Upon receiving your passport back from the consulate/embassy/VFS, carefully review your visa to ensure the following:</p>
    <ul>
      <li>Your full name is spelled correctly and matches your passport.</li>
      <li>Your visa states that it is for studying at O.P. Jindal Global University.</li>
      <li>The duration of your visa should be valid from the date of program registration and expire only after the end date of your study at JGU.</li>
      <li>If any of the above information is incorrectly printed on your visa, contact the embassy/consulate/VFS immediately for correction.</li>
