Since then, JGU has been celebrating September 30 as its University Day. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. (Mrs.) Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities, and Dr. Shailendra R. Mehta, President &amp; Director and Distinguished Professor \u2013 Innovation &amp; Entrepreneurship, MICA.<\/p>\n<p>JGU\u2019s beginning on September 30, 2009 was modest with a little over 100 students, 10 faculty members and 1 school.
