The talk analysed the ongoing Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas conflicts that have produced horrific war crimes and enormous civilian suffering.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The Second Charter: Reforming the United Nations<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On October 31, the JGLS Centre for the Study of the United Nations organised a distinguished guest lecture on \u2018The Second Charter: Reforming the United Nations\u2019 by Dr. Augusto Lopez-Claros, a well-known international economist and founding Executive Director, Global Governance Forum.
