This institute will be led by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jgu.edu.in\/jsgp\/faculty\/dr-mrinalini-jha\">Professor (Dr.) Mrinalini Jha<\/a>\u00a0who has been appointed as its Director.<\/p>\n<p>JIHS will be a pioneering research institute housed in JGU that will serve as a knowledge hub dedicated to addressing Haryana&#8217;s unique challenges through interdisciplinary research, innovative policy solutions, capacity-building initiatives, and actionable interventions. The JIHS will aim to advance Haryana&#8217;s development agenda while aligning with global best practices and Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n<p>Created based on JGU&#8217;s core values and mission of promoting interdisciplinarity and cross-fertilisation of research across its schools, JIHS will transform into a globally recognised centre for excellence rooted in JGU&#8217;s commitment to fostering actionable interdisciplinary research.
