{"id":9214,"date":"2026-07-28T13:28:45","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T07:58:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jgu.edu.in\/insidejgunew\/?p=9214"},"modified":"2026-07-28T13:28:45","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T07:58:45","slug":"iihed-organises-aspire-india-scholars-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jgu.edu.in\/insidejgu\/iihed-organises-aspire-india-scholars-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"IIHEd organises Aspire India Scholars Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>International Institute for Higher Education Research and Capacity Building (IIHEd) of JGU organised from June 8 to 15 the Aspire India Scholars Programme (AISP), Jindal Global Summer School for high school students from various parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>AISP 2025 was designed to help high school students transition into higher education. The immersive programme was filled with action-based experiences designed to spark their curiosity and direct them towards making informed choices about their higher educational pursuits and career prospects. Raj Kumar, the Founding Vice-Chancellor of JGU. Welcoming the ASPIRE scholars, he spoke about the value of the summer school programme and introduced them to JGU and its commitment towards global education.<\/p>\n<p>Each thematic session was facilitated by different JGU schools. Early sessions explored themes like \u2018The New Economy&#8217; and &#8216;Systems Thinking&#8217;, alongside workshops on &#8216;Social &amp; Emotional Intelligence&#8217; and inspiring talks from ambassadors like slackliner Samar Farooqui and advertising professional Rishi Agarwal. Mid-week saw a deepening of intellectual engagement where students explored &#8216;Global Pathways&#8217; in international relations and &#8216;Critical Thinking in the Age of AI&#8217;. Practical experiences included visits to the Constitution Museum &amp; The Rights and Freedoms Academy, and the cutting-edge Brain Lab, exploring cognitive science.
