<\/p>\nInternational Institute for Higher Education Research and Capacity Building (IIHEd) of JGU organised from June 8 to 15 the Aspire India Scholars Programme (AISP), Jindal Global Summer School for high school students from various parts of the country.<\/p>\n
AISP 2025 was designed to help high school students transition into higher education. The immersive programme was filled with action-based experiences designed to spark their curiosity and direct them towards making informed choices about their higher educational pursuits and career prospects. During AISP, students gained first-hand experiences of campus and university life while having diverse exposure by interacting with their counterparts from different parts of the country.\u00a0 It offered a rich blend of interdisciplinary thematic sessions, hands-on workshops, and guest talks by ambassadors of the creative industry crafted to inspire and navigate a future that they wished to create.<\/p>\n

The programme featured an interaction on June 9 with Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, the Founding Vice-Chancellor of JGU. Welcoming the ASPIRE scholars, he spoke about the value of the summer school programme and introduced them to JGU and its commitment towards global education.<\/p>\n
Each thematic session was facilitated by different JGU schools. Early sessions explored themes like \u2018The New Economy’ and ‘Systems Thinking’, alongside workshops on ‘Social & Emotional Intelligence’ and inspiring talks from ambassadors like slackliner Samar Farooqui and advertising professional Rishi Agarwal. Mid-week saw a deepening of intellectual engagement where students explored ‘Global Pathways’ in international relations and ‘Critical Thinking in the Age of AI’. Practical experiences included visits to the Constitution Museum & The Rights and Freedoms Academy, and the cutting-edge Brain Lab, exploring cognitive science. Creative problem-solving was fostered in a dynamic Design Thinking Workshop.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
