It helps create regulatory structures for environmental management and helps manage, supress, control, and limit detrimental environmental impacts. The LL.M. programme covers subjects like Environmental Law, Energy and Climate Change and will benefit law graduates who would like to develop specialised legal knowledge to tackle global challenges such as climate change and energy access. The energy component will include legal and technical aspects of the entire gamut, from the mining of raw materials to generation (in case of electricity), transmission and distribution. The specialisation integrates Indian with global perspectives on aspects of national and international environmental law, climate change and energy issues, and emphasizes on international, transnational and comparative\u00a0 approach to study the subject. The intensive curriculum provides students an opportunity to study a number of carefully selected courses on contemporary topics in national and international environmental laws. Our teaching pedagogy ensures that students studying this specialization develop a range of skills and perspectives that are essential to succeed in a highly competitive professional and academic environment.
