Director’s Message

With immense pleasure, I invite child rights associates, enthusiasts, learners, and contributors to join the blog that we, at the Child Rights Clinic (CRC) of Jindal Global Law School, are commissioning. A full-fledged CRC is an important addition to various efforts of Clinical Programmes and Clinical Legal Education that aim for social justice. Ever since its inception as a clinic dedicated to child rights, in 2020, the CRC has been striving to address the deficits that inhibit the full realization of the regime of child rights in India. Being cognizant of the criticality of vibrance and preparedness of legal professionals and other constituents that impact child rights, the CRC envisions creating a platform amongst them for exchange of ideas and their development for effective action on ground.

It will be CRC’s endeavour to keep the blog website interactive and participatory. In its orientation and perspectives for the blog, the CRC will make efforts to include the views and aspirations of various stakeholders, including children and parents and guardians, law students and teachers, institutions and mechanisms of child rights, media and civil society groups, academics and researchers etc. The blog envisions to cover various facets of child rights. We expect and welcome suggestions, contributions and support as we commit this blog to strengthening a movement for child rights
