Identifying and Reporting Child Sexual Abuse

“Identifying and Reporting Child Sexual Abuse”.

The CRC organized a consultation session on the development of ‘Child-Friendly’ primers on “Identifying and Reporting Child Sexual Abuse”.

Ten years after the enactment of POCSO, there is still a lack of child-friendly information on reporting of POCSO cases.  In furtherance of the same, through a course on “Child sexual abuse and the law”, students have collaborated to create child-friendly primers on identifying and reporting child sexual abuse to put together information on identifying child sexual abuse and the reporting process for POCSO cases. This initiative is part of the Clinic’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness and promote child rights. The consultation was organized to get a feedback on the primers from leading activists and organizations in the field such as  iProbono, HAQ Centre for Child Rights, Counsel to Secure Justice, Project CACA, and YP foundation.
