CRC organized a guest lecture on the ”Psychosocial impact of Child Sexual Abuse”. The lecture is expertly delivered by Dr. Vasundharaa Nair, Professor at Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences. She completed her doctoral study in Psychiatric Social Work, focused on Social Factors influencing Pathways of Care for Persons with Acute Brain Infections.

The lecture focused on the long-term and short-term psychosocial effects of child sexual abuse on survivors and will also delve into how lawyers can practically implement a trauma informed approach while representing survivors.
