New Delhi, October 31, 2017:<\/strong> Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) of O.P. Jindal Global University\n(JGU) has signed a MoU with Quinnipiac University, United States to establish\nties of friendship and cooperation for the purpose of promoting academic,\ncultural and personnel exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MoU was\nsigned between Dean, JGBS, Dr. Tapan Panda and President, Quinnipiac\nUniversity, John L. Lahey. This academic understanding between two global\nUniversities will allow exchange of teaching and research personnel and\nstudents, as well as books, research and reference materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founding Vice chancellor, JGU, Professor Dr. C Raj Kumar <\/strong>speaking on the occasion said, \u201cAcademic and research collaborations are instrumental in building a\nquality global business degree program. In today\u2019s competitive environment it\nis imperative to provide an academic environment which encourages\ncollaborations in learning, fostering a culture which aims at expanding the\nlearning horizons through global exposure\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The academic\nunderstanding between Jindal Global Business School and Quinnipiac University will\nallow students to experience the best of both worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dean, JGBS, Dr. Tapan Panda<\/strong> said, \u201cOur relationship with\nUniversity of Quinnipiac, USA is going to open new vistas for Jindal Global\nBusiness School Students and faculty members. By this MOU now our students can\ndo their MS program in US as well as participate in the exchange program. We\nare moving towards creating a global platform for JGBS student mobility so that\na student has a chance to do his courses and learn across continents. The\nrelationship will also bring in opportunities for faculty members to do world\nclass research and publish in the highly rated journal. This relationship is\nopening up opportunities in allied domains like public policy and corporate\ngovernance, sustainability and research in the area of technology and its\nimpact on future living. JGBS will be able to contribute significantly to both\nacademic and industrial world through this relationship with University of\nQuinnipiac\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Quinnipiac University<\/strong> John L. Lahey <\/strong>said, \u201cWe are\ndelighted to be signing this MoU, joining the Jindal University and Quinnipiac\nUniversity for academic collaboration. We hope with this the two countries will\ncooperate on educational issues and mutual interests and the two Universities\nwill cooperate as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O.P. Jindal\nGlobal University currently has 155 Developed international collaborations with\nover one hundred fifty-five universities and institutions in thirty-six\ncountries across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
