This year’s recruitment highlight is the appointment of Mr. Wali Zardan from the LL.M. batch, who was recently appointed as the Legal Director of the Ministry of Mines & Petroleum of the Government of Afghanistan. “The learning opportunities provided at Jindal Global Law School along with their outstanding faculty members has led to these fruitful results being experienced today. I am delighted and excited and indeed grateful to my alma mater, JGU,” he said.

In an unprecedented manner, India’s premiere corporate law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has made offers to 11 students of the graduating batch. In addition to being preferred by the leading Indian law firms, JGLS graduates are also being recruited by international law firms. JGU Founding Vice-Chancellor and the Dean of Jindal Global Law School, Professor (Dr.) C. JGLS prides itself for facilitating a diversified range of professional opportunities to its graduates. These opportunities are not limited to corporate law firms, but also include in-house counsel positions at corporations and business enterprises, consultancy firms, investment banks, think tanks, research institutions, non-governmental organisations, intergovernmental organisations, government agencies, litigation practices at lawyers’ chambers and judicial clerkships with judges of the High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. Internships have become the most preferred route for hiring law students by Indian and international law firms, and we will continue to focus on expanding this network.”

Several Jindal graduates have also chosen to pursue higher studies and have secured admission to study LL.M and other degree programmes. There are many other students who are also preparing to take administrative services and competitive exams.

Assistant Dean of Careers Office at JGLS Prof. Anuranjan Sethi said – “We are constantly working to improve the quality and quantity of our recruiters across various segments to shape students’ imaginations and catering to their constantly evolving career aspirations of our students.”
